The Best Bracket is a tournament pool optimization tool. It uses Monte Carlo simulation and ownership modeling to generate brackets that maximize your probability of finishing first in your pool.

This is a sister site of The Best Box Score, which provides MLB box scores with Statcast data, win probability analysis, and umpire scorecards.

Supported Tournaments

• NCAA March Madness — 64-team single-elimination bracket optimization. Launching March 2026.
• FIFA World Cup 2026 — Group stage + knockout bracket optimization. Coming June 2026.

Data Sources

Team probabilities are derived from publicly available sportsbook odds. Ownership data comes from ESPN Tournament Challenge public pick percentages when available, supplemented by a synthetic model based on implied probability distributions.
